Born and raised in the quiet community of Fish Creek, Georgia, Byron Slaughter carries the heart of the South in every note he sings and every story he tells. Blending the rich traditions of country, gospel, Americana, and folk, his sound is inspired by the timeless sounds of legends like Hank Williams Sr. and Kris Kristofferson.

Byron made his way to Nashville in 2021, chasing the dream in Music City that so many have done before him. Whether he’s hosting a bi-monthly jam session, performing at open mic nights, or collaborating with other artists, Byron thrives on the connections that music brings.

Currently, Byron is pouring his heart into a gospel project that reflects his deep roots and faith, while continuing to co-write with talented musicians. Some of the talent he has worked with in the past include Clay Page, Zac Grace, Robbie Cockrell, and Caleb Mills to list a few. These collaborations have not only enriched his artistry but have also deepened his appreciation for the stories that unfold when creative souls come together.
